Write a 2 to3 page final reflection paper about your experiences.
In your own words, define the six dimensions of health and wellness. Reflect upon the health behavior/s you identified at the beginning of the semester as areas you wished to improve upon. Where are you now on the continuum of wellness for each of these behaviors? Has your wellness in each area improved, generally remained the same, or decreased? Why do you think you earned these results?
What were your SMART goals at the beginning of the semester and have they remained the same throughout. If not, what changes have you made to your goals? Have you met or made progress towards meeting any of your short-term goals? Why or why not? What strategies did you use in attempting to meet your goals? Do you feel that these strategies were effective? How will you make sure that you meet and/or maintain your goals when this class ends?
Lastly, identify 3 concepts or strategies that you applied that improved your wellness this semester. For example, you may find that you used the SMART principle when developing your goals. This would count as 1 of the 3 concepts in your paper. Identify 2 concepts or strategies that you haven’t used yet, but that you will use to meet and/or maintain your goals when this class ends.
Your Paper should be 2 to 3 pages double-spaced with 1” margins on all sides and 12 pt. Times New Roman font. Headers, titles, and spaces DO NOT count toward the 2 to 3 pages of writing required. You must have at least two FULL pages of writing to meet the minimum length requirement for this paper. Please submit as an attachment here on Canvas. See the syllabus for more details.
