Page 318 of the book discusses 4 modes of family communication patterns: consensual, protective, pluralistic, and laissez-faire. They are based on two categories of communication rules, conversation orientation and conformity orientation. Using a pop-culture example, identify and discuss the family communication patterns, Include the following in your post in at least 300+ words: 1. Name the family you are using for the example. 2. You can use youtube or other free resources. 3. Identify the family communication pattern occurring within the clip (if there is more than one, you can discuss all that are happening) 4. Discuss what is occurring that makes it a high or low conversation orientation and high or low conformity orientation. Response: Review the selected clips of two of your peers’ initial posts. Do you agree or disagree with the identified communication pattern within the clip? Why or why not? Respond discussing at least one other concept discussed in Chapter 11 that you can reflect on based on the clip. For example, you may reflect on how the family boundary patterns are effecting the orientations and communication patterns identified.

Why is the age and the situation not important enough.

I will be diving into the press releasing the names and photos of child suspects. There are many murders that children have been the suspect but releasing photos of these children along with their photo can be harmful. Why is the age and the situation not important enough. We will look into how far is too far in giving out the photo and the name of suspects under the age of 17. Along with real life examples.
